  • Only 1061 miles miles since total restoration. This vehicle underwent an extensive 2 year ground up body off restoration. Features a 239cid Flat Head V8 matesd to a 4 speed transmission. 1st gear is a granny gear. The original transmission has straight cut gears. Truck features an updated 12volt electrical system & disc brakes up front. Truck has a 10bolt rear, heater, aftermarket air conditioning, and a beautiful varnished wooden bed. Rides on 16inch steel wheels. The total frame off restoration took 3 years from 2012 to 2015. Most of the restoration documentation is included, with pictures.
  • The truck started life in 1951 as a red pickup, but was changed to green during the restoration.
  • Vehicle was purchased by previous owner in early 2015 from the daughter (Ruth Cheney) of the original owner. There Is a picture included of her and her siblings with the truck in the background taken in 1951. This vehicle changed hands several times going to Florida then coming back to CT. when Ruth purchased the truck back.
  • Ruth Cheney, passed on before completing the restoration at which time I purchased It from her husband and completed the restoration.
  • This is one of the nicest Fl Ford Pickups around. A nut and bolt restoration, the truck was completely disassembled and painstakingly restored including drivetrain and engine.
